Blueberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries (thawed)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • Dash of salt

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine all the ingredients. Cook over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly until the sauce has thickened. Serve warm. Makes approximately 2 cups. (Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.)
