Brown Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbs. grated ginger
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tbs. sugar
- 1 tbs. plus 1 tsp. cider vinegar
- 2 tbs. dry sherry or sake 3 tbs. cornstarch
- dried red pepper, optional
Instructions
Combine all ingredients except cornstarch in a small bowl or large measuring cup. Place cornstarch in a separate bowl. whisk in liquid.
