Restaurant Style Salsa
"My Restaurant-Style Salsa recipe. It’s perfect for family snacks or company noshing. I hope you go the extra step of squeezing lime juice and baking the tortilla chips. It bumps the flavor from mmm…good to indulgence! It's so easy to create and such a winner for game night, a quick snack or as part of a meal. Definitely so much better than from a jar -- it's worth taking a moment to make it fresh!! Enjoy!"
NotesFor the Tortilla Chips
- juice from 1 lime
- coarse sea salt
For the chips:
spread onto a baking sheet.
Drizzle lime juice over the top and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
Bake at 425 for 5 minutes.

Ingredients
- 2 cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 chipotle in adobo sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- juice from one lime
- small handful of cilantro

Place all ingredients into the 5-cup jug blender/chopper.

Place the motor on top of the blender.

Press the unlock button, then press the SmartSpeed button to turn the blender on.

Blend until desired consistency is reached.

When the salsa is done, pour into a bowl; serve warm or cold.
