Homemade Schezwan Sauce
"Schezwan sauce is a spicy and hot Chinese chili sauce which is used in many fusion Indo Chinese dishes. It’s spicy, slightly sweet, slightly tangy in taste. You can use this sauce while making stir fried veggies and serve them along with steamed rice — a comfy and delicious meal in itself. You can make Schezwan fried rice with it in no time. It goes so well with Indian Poppadoms / papads. You can serve this schezwan sauce as a dip with any of your favorite snacks. I personally like them with fries, potato wedges, chicken wings, chicken lollipops, veg lollipops, cutlets, spring rolls, patties, burgers, and momos."

This looks really interesting. I love hot sauces and I can see several uses for this particular sauce in some of the dishes I make. We're lucky to have a very well-stocked Asian market not far away, and I can see making a visit there in a few days to pick up some supplies to make some of this. I want to try this on some steaks we'll be grilling next week. Looking forward very much to making this up and possibly tinkering a bit with the recipe.
