30-Minute Tomato Basil Soup
"Even though I typically think of fall and winter as “soup seasons,” this Tomato Basil Soup is one of those recipes that I make year-round because everyone loves it! Serve it with a grilled cheese sandwich on the side and you can’t find an easier, faster, or more family-friendly weeknight meal. And while a cup of Tomato Basil Soup is total comfort-food during the cool weather months, I also love to serve it for lunch or dinner in the summer when I can pluck the fresh basil straight out of my garden. If I had to pick only one soup to have for the rest of my life, this would definitely be it! Rustic, simple, absolutely delicious…and ready for consumption in about 30 minutes!"
Notes*I don't recommend substituting milk for the cream. I've tried it, and the taste, texture, and appearance of the soup just aren't the same.
