Slow Cooker Irish Stew for St. Patrick's Day
"I have been cooking up a few Irish inspired meals to celebrate the upcoming St. Paddy’s Day including corned beef with cabbage and Slow Cooker Irish Stew with plenty of lean beef, vegetables and of course, potatoes! Slow Cooker Irish Stew is the perfect meal for St. Patrick’s Day this Sunday! This is a traditional Irish recipe that is hearty, filling, loved world wide and so very easy to prepare! Traditionally Irish Stew was prepared with mutton (older sheep) but nowadays it can be prepared with either beef or lamb. The choice is yours, either way it will turn out beautifully! I am a huge fan of simple yet delicious recipes. Slow Cooker Irish Stew is a great meal idea because you can just set it in your slow cooker and forget it! Lots of lean tender beef simmering with vegetables, herbs and potatoes creates a rich, homestyle meal that you will want to create again and again!"
