    Barbecued Green Beans

    Barbecued Green Beans made with bacon, onions, and green beans: 3 makings for a side dish to out taste all other side dish recipes. This saucy side dish, with a tang of horseradish will become an instant dinner favorite.

    Ingredients

    • 6 slices bacon
    • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
    • 1/2 cup catsup
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
    • 2 cans cut green beans, drained

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
       
    2. Brown bacon and onion in skillet.
       
    3. Add everything, except beans to skillet. Simmer for 2 minutes or until saucy.
       
    4. Pour sauce over beans in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Stir gently. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

    To get "a tang of horseradish" wouldn't you have to add horseradish? Did you mean Worchestershire?
