Bratkartoffeln German Fries
"You might know this dish if you had German ancestors. The German Fries, aka Bratkartoffeln, are sliced cooked potatoes that are fried in a pan crispy with onion and sometimes bacon as well. This is an ultimate comfort food side dish which is often while simply served with fried eggs as a lunch or dinner meal. This dish comes together easily within 20 minutes and is prepared in one skillet only. I like to use leftover cooked potatoes from the previous day, that way I don't waste food in my kitchen and at the same time, I can turn the potatoes into a comfort food dish."
