Honey Peppered Cranberry Sauce
I know what you're thinking: Who puts pepper in cranberry sauce? Well, my family does...and once you've tried this homemade cranberry sauce recipe, you will too. It's surprisingly good!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 (12-ounce) bag cranberries
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 pinch hot pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
Instructions
- Boil cranberries in water until they pop, about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add honey, salt, pepper flakes and yeast; mix well.
- Serve warm (cold is good too).
