"During the winter months in India, fresh green peas are in abundance. Indian homes relish the use of the green pease and make various dishes. Matar paneer is an all time favorite dish to make during the winter. This dish is best made with fresh peas, but the frozen ones will work just as well. I would also say use fresh paneer too since it is softer. Matar paneer is best served with rotis, or indian bread."
