Wheat Germ and Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 3/4 c vegetable oil
- 1 c cane or sorghum molasses
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsps vanilla
- 1 c raisins or 1/2 c. each chopped nuts and raisins
- 1 1/2 c wheat germ
- 2 c rolled oats
- 3/4 c whole wheat flour, soy flour, or rice flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c dry milk powder
Instructions
Combine the first seven ingredients in a large bowl. Sift in the remaining ingredients. Stir until well blended. Drop batter from a teaspoon (or larger spoon) onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes.
