Using the refrigerated crescent rolls or biscuits makes cooking so much easier and faster. I love puttering around in the kitchen and making somewhat more involved things, but it's great to have a stock of recipes that are simple and fast to assemble and really delicious. There was a suggestion elsewhere of using some chopped green pepper and onions in this to give it a bit more of a Denver omelet flavor. This is one I'll be making for sure.

At our house during busy holiday, breakfast casseroles are a must. These dishes can be prepared ahead of time, stored cooked/uncooked and used when needed. With crescent rolls in this recipe, this is surely a 1 day make ahead dish

This is really good. Since there is only 2 of us I cut the recipe in half. There was some leftover that reheated very well. A nice change for breakfast.

Never thought about using the crescent roll in preparing a breakfast bake. I find myself liking breakfast casseroles more and more because of how easy they are to prepare. I am sure the crescent roll adds a whole new dimension to the prepared dish. Making sure to pick up a few next trip to the grocery store.

Thank you for an easy breakfast casserole recipe. I find myself making this type of recipe for dinner more and more often, because we like this kind of meal, but we're not big on large breakfast dishes. This will make a great weekend night dinner for us.
