There is always some ground beef in our freezer as it is one of the least expensive meats to purchase. I am always on the lookout for easy recipes to make with it. You can only eat so much spaghetti and sloppy joes. I like this recipe and the crescent topper is the cinch in this recipe. Thanks.

I like this Ground Beef Crescent Casserole recipe because it is clever and easy. It combines ingredients that I normally wouldn't think of putting together (mozzarella and sour cream), but it really works and tastes great. I love to cook and I love to learn. This recipe helped me do both. I Loved it. The crescent rolls on top. brushed with the melted butter seasoned with parmesan cheese and basil was perfect. For this recipe I have to say..."Try it, you'll like it".

Reading over this recipe and it reminds me of a "pot pie" creation. Pillsbury Crescent Dinner Rolls are one of my favorite bread items and this looks like a good excuse to have them more than once a week. Any idea of just a small can of tomato sauce will work as the pasta sauce?

I love an easy ground beef recipe and I really love the crescent rolls because of their versatility and they taste good! I do have a daughter who is a vegetarian and I'm wondering if anyone has tried this with the meatless ground beef crumbles such as Gardene? She's willing to try new things so I might make her this over the the weekend. Also does it freeze well?

I tried this casserole recipe last week, mainly because I happened to have all the ingredients on hand, and it turned out really great. My husband and I really liked it! I was unsure about the sour cream into the mix at first, but it was really good, and reminded me of this pizza dip I have made before, with great results. I think next time I might try it with some diced green pepper added after the meat is drained, or even with some sauted mushrooms.

This sure looks like a good casserole. The combination of sour cream, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese is a good one. I would definitely drain the browned meat before I add anything to it.

I made this for supper last night and my family loved it. It's quick and easy. I did however use Marinara sauce. Will make again...thanks for recipe!
