Chinese Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. chicken wings
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 lemon (squeezed)
- 3 Tbsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. gin
- 2 cups canola oil
Instructions
Combine soy sauce, water, salt, ground ginger, gin and lemon in small bowl. Add chicken and marinate for at least 24 hours in refrigerator. Add oil to hot wok, add chicken carefully, and cook over moderate heat for 7 minutes. Turn and cook another 7 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to absorb some oil. Serve immediately.
