This is my family's favorite side dish! I like zucchini just baked in the oven with a little sea salt but frying the veggies tastes great, too! I think any vegetable fried would taste good!!! I also really like making different dipping sauces for the zucchini like a sweet honey mustard or a Russian salad dressing. Tangy dressings go well with the salt and fat from the fried crust.

I have found that even the pickiest children a well as meat and potatoes guys will always eat their veggies if you deep fry them. I love to make these toward the end of summer when I have a ton of zucchini and yellow summer squash from my garden! Other veggies are awesome like this, especially cauliflower and broccoli florets!
