Mini Pizza Tacos
Learn how to make mini pizza tacos before your next game day party or potluck.
If you're looking for the ultimate snacking combination, look no further than these pizza tacos! They're basically mini pizzas inside a taco shell, giving you the best of both worlds.
This easy appetizer recipe is perfect for a game day party or just for every day snacking. We used sausage, cheese, and pizza sauce for our recipe, however, you are welcome to include whatever toppings you find most delicious!
In testing this recipe, we found that some of our staff would have preferred a more "taco-flavored" pizza taco, rather than a pizza flavored one. If you find yourself on that side of things, you might include ground beef, hot sauce, and cheddar cheese instead.
The beauty is in the construction for this easy-to-make recipe!

-
Cut 4-5 rounds from each tortilla using a 2 ½ or 3 inch cookie cutter.

In a medium bowl combine the melted butter, garlic powder and oregano.
-
Toss the tortilla rounds in the butter mixture until all are coated.

I love this Mini Pizza Taco recipe, not only because it is tasty and easy to prepare, but because it is clever. What a great technique to bake the tortilla rounds by turning the muffin tin upside down and placing them in between the muffin cups. It may sound crazy but this opened up a whole new world for me. I made them both ways...pizza flavored and taco flavored for watching the game, and they were both well liked. My little niece who loves all things small like her absolutely loved them.

Just what I was looking for to snack on during the game tonight and easy to make too! You had me at taco and I think that's the way I'd go for me personally but, I'm also thinking of trying buffalo chicken with blue cheese, bbq beef with coleslaw and of course, pizza. It'll be like a mini taco extravaganza...I love it!

This is a fun idea to make little pizzas. I wouldn't necessarily call it a "taco," but a mini pizza suits this dish just fine.

DELICIOUS!! I am not a big fan of tacos but these are basically mini pizzas. They're small, but they pack so much flavor! I may have lost count of how many I ate...

It's two of my Most-Eaten things, so I definitely tried it. It's literally a slice of pizza shaped like a taco, though. That's how it tastes. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't catch a more "taco" taste from this, but it's good for what it was-- a slice of pizza shaped like a taco? Alas, I am still looking for the OTPT (One True Pizza Taco).
