I remember my mom making batches of snack mix like this when I was a little girl. She always made it for New Year's Eve. We loved it! I want to make this and share the memory with my kids so they will pass it on to their children. Thanks!

I like this snack mix idea. I never really cared for the original chex mix seasoning. And if you are diet restricted, you could switch up the ingredients to make it fit with what you can eat. I never would have thought of the crock pot for making this either.

I haven't made any type of Chex mix in a long time. I like the idea of making it in my slow cooker, and I would like to try mesquite seasoning, instead of the old traditional recipe with Worcestershire sauce. I don't think I ever included Goldfish crackers in my mix, either.
