I think this looks really attractive and I'm sure it would be a great addition to any party. I love the various layers, and the fact that you can use store-bought pesto and tapenade to assemble in a pinch. Not mentioned in the recipe but illustrated in the photo is the use of water crackers which I think is a great choice since you really don't want the cracker taste to compete with the pesto and other elements.

Pesto is one of my favorite foods and goat cheese is one of my roommate's favorite foods, so we have to try this! I love these very simple appetizers with only a few ingredients. Plus, the pesto compliments the creaminess and saltiness of the goat cheese. Thanks for sharing!
