Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers
Ingredients
- 24 jalapeno peppers, pickled or fresh, cut in half lengthwise, seeded
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3 ounces Kraft Old English Cheese Spread
- 1/4 cup well-crumbled blue cheese
- 2/3 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
If using pickled peppers, drain and pat dry first. Take the usual precautions when handling hot peppers. Use rubber gloves and don't get this stuff in your eyes. Combine cream chhese, cheese spread, blue cheese and pecans. Fill jalapeno pepper halves with cheese mixture. Cover lightly with plastic wrap and chill for an hour or so before serving.

You'll notice I added the bacon for bacon wrapped jalapeno "poppers." They're not very hot because I removed the seeds and the cream cheese cools the heat. I made a lot of this when we had our neighborhood block party. I got to meet a lot of my new neighbors because they came down to find the jalapeno poppers they say others eating! LOL
