Chinese Macaroni
"I have to say that Chinese macaroni is the meal I make when I’m in a hurry, or sometimes when I have no clue what I want to make for dinner. Yes, I sometimes lack imagination in the kitchen, it happens to all of us from time to time. This recipe is quick and easy and uses ingredients that I always have on hand, and yes, even if it is simple, it is still full of flavour. I have included in the ingredient list concentrated beef bouillon. I use it in the cooking water for the macaroni elbows. It is totally optional, I use this instead of adding salt to the pasta water."

Where has this recipe been hiding? I have needed a new macaroni recipe for a while now. I am going to make this tonight for dinner. I was trying to figure out something good, and this sounds like the most amazing pasta dish. I am headed to get the stuff right now.

That is such a creative use for the beef bouillon in the pasta water! I did something similar by using chicken stock to cook some homestyle egg noodles before, and it added a whole new dimension of flavor. This sort of sounds like an oriental version of a goulash, (which is one of my favorite comfort foods) so I can't wait to give this a try!
