My favorite ground beef meal is just ground beef with diced potatoes, carrots, and raisins seasoned with soy sauce, salt, and pepper and paired or placed on top of a bowl of steamed white rice. Meatloaf and rice is good too.

This would be so lovely over rice, noodles or roasted potatoes and I'd definitely have to throw some mushrooms into that delicious gravy. I just had a thought...how about adding sliced bell peppers, and onion into the gravy, putting that deliciousness on the burgers with some swiss cheese, and serving it on your favorite roll. It's almost like a dreamy version of a cheesesteak only in a burger. Yum!

These burgers look so yummy. I want to make them soon because I love hamburger gravy. I think that my kids would fall in love with these because I sure did when I was their age. We used to have this over mashed potatoes or bread when we had it, and if we didnt't that was ok too.

These are incredibly tasty and easy to make. The gravy is wonderful. One thing I added was some crumbled bacon to the burger mixture. It's rare that I have a hamburger without bacon being incorporated in some way, and mixing some crumbles into the mix just gave it the extra bit of flavor I was looking for.

This recipe is a great idea for people trying to cut down on their intake of carbs. Since the sauce only contains a mere 1 tbsp. of flour, it could easily be swapped out for a rice flour in order to make it gluten free. I think I might even like this on a bun too - the sauce might be nice instead of the traditional condiments like ketchup, mustard, onion or pickle.

This makes me think of homemade Salisbury steak and gravy, except this is simpler. Worcestershire sauce gives really great flavor to ground beef. 1/4 cup seems like a lot for one pound of meat, but just try it. This would be great served with mashed potatoes on the side and pour some gravy over the patty and the potatoes.

I like this recipe because it is a different way to serve hamburgers than the usual sandwich route. With a vegetable or salad it makes a delicious meal for lunch or dinner. We are especially fond of gravy here so I am sure this one will be a hit.
