The Best Pot Roast You've Ever Made

There are a couple things about this pot roast recipe that will make it The Best Pot Roast You've Ever Made. First, the roast is marinated overnight in a balsamic glaze that gives it amazing, melt-in-your-mouth flavor. Plus, it's a slow cooker recipe, so you can assemble it in the morning and let it cook all day until you're ready for dinner. Add in carrots and potatoes and you've got a complete meal ready to be served.

I was going to ask what made this the best pot roast recipe ever, but then I seen the balsamic vinegar glaze. That is all I needed to see. That one ingredient changes everything. I love balsamic vinegar because it has such a unique flavor, right? I can't wait to try your pot roast recipe.

OMGosh! Made this for dinner tonight and it was fabulous. Best pot roast recipe I have ever made. Happy husband too

I make pot roasts quite often, but since this a different recipe, I have to make this one too. I don't sear my roast before I slow cook it, but I can, because my slow cooker has a browning function. I don't have any balsamic vinegar and I don't know much about it, but I'll check it out at the grocery store this weekend. The picture of the roast makes me wish it was tonight's dinner!

This Best Pot Roast Youve Ever Tasted recipe really IS the best pot roast Ive ever tasted! It could be the balsamic or the long slow cooking or a combination of the two but the important thing is that the end result is absolutely delicious - moist, tender and very very tasty. I didnt use the garlic salt so I added an extra clove of garlic but that was the only change. A definite winner!

I have never made a pot roast before. It seemed to me that it would just end up being boiled meat. Was I ever wrong! I am definitely going to make this recipe. I like the way it is marinated in a balsamic glaze. That is off to a good start. It is also a nice idea to cook in the slow cooker as then it is going to be extra tender. I can't wait to eat this succulent looking meat. One pot cooking is always a winner in my book.

I love a good pot roast and usually roast mine in the oven for about 3 hours in tin foil with cream of mushroom soup and a packet of onion soup mix. I have never thought to use balsamic vinegar in there instead. What would be considered a good balsamic vinegar? It's not an ingredient that I use often.

This recipe sounds so delicious. I love cooking roast, but I never put this many seasonings into it. I guess maybe that is why it came out so tender and moist. I will definitely make this a few more times this winter because everyone in my family loved it. They even cleaned their plates, vegetables and all.

I'm a sucker for a good pot roast. This one looks exceptional!

I have never oven roasted a chuck roast for only 1 hr. and had it tender. I roast mine a 350 deg. for 3 hrs.! What is your secret? LOL
