I was there to meet one of the physicians that I work with, but she was unable to make the meeting. So instead of eating one of their fattening cheeseburgers or fries as I had planned (when in Rome... right?) I left with an Apple Pie Milkshake in hand (I couldn't resist). And OMG was it amazing! I don't even want to think about how many calories/points I blew with that milkshake, but it was totally worth it. However, I couldn't stop thinking about it. So, instead of trying to recreate the milkshake that would only tempt me into eating way more calories than I need, I decided to create a healthier version of that milkshake, but in the form of a smoothie. It is very popular around apple season (early fall) but great for any time of the year! "
