We're convinved that while these are savory waffles, they'd still taste pretty delicious drizzled with a bit of maple syrup. That sweet and salty combo may just be the thing to wake you up in the morning. If you prefer to keep things savory, try pairing them with ketchup or hot sauce.

I have used thawed tater tots before to make potato pancakes using a skillet before, and they were quite tasty, so I am definitely going to get the old waffle iron out and try this recipe! The Cajun seasoning sounds great for my own, but when serving my son I might leave that out, since he doesn't like anything spicy.
