The Best French Toast Casserole Aka Oven French Toast
"This is the best french toast casserole that you will find as it combines french bread, eggs, milk, half and half, with brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. This oven french toast is the perfect weekend breakfast or even holiday brunch. Choosing the right bread when making your oven french toast is key. Using dense bread is best! Try French bread or a Brioche. Be sure you let the egg mixture really soak into the bread. This creates a soft custard delicious crust. If you are in a hurry and don’t do this, it can create a very soggy breakfast. "

Ingredients
- 12 cups Stale/Day-Old Bread, large cubed
- 8 eachs large Eggs
- 2/3 cup Brown sugar
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup half and half
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- Maple Syrup

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Grease 13×9 pan.

Cut bread into cubes and place in a large mixing bowl.

In a separate mixing bowl, mix your eggs, brown sugar, milk, and half and half. Add in your vanilla and cinnamon. This will make our egg custard.

Pour over your bread cubes.

Mix together bread and custard, until well mixed.

Let sit for about 20-30 minutes to soak the egg mixture into the bread.

Pour in a 9×13 pan

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

Serve immediately. Tastes delicious with maple syrup on top of it!
