Outrageous Brownies
These Outrageous Brownies are so outrageously good, they'll be devoured instantly! With loads of chocolate chips and a hint of espresso, this is unlike any other chocolate brownie recipes you've tried.
Ingredients
- 4 sticks unsalted butter
- 5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 6 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 6 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons powdered instant espresso
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups walnuts, chopped
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a double boiler, melt together the butter with half of the chocolate chips and unsweetened chocolate until smooth. Cool to room temperature.
- In a large bowl, combine the eggs, espresso, vanilla, and sugar. Stir in chocolate mixture and mix. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold in remaining chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Pour into a standard-sized brownie pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool overnight in refrigerator.
