Pecan Monkey Bread
When it comes to this bread, there is no monkey business! This bread uses crunchy pecans and spicy cinnamon. Make this monkey bread recipe for all your friends. Trust me, they will go ape over it!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
Instructions
- Sprinkle pecans evenly in bottom of well-greased 10 inch bundt pan. Set pan aside.
- Combine sugar with cinnamon, creating a sugar/cinnamon mixture.
- Cut biscuits into quarters. Roll each piece in the sugar/cinnamon mixture and layer in the pan.
- Combine brown sugar and butter. Pour over dough.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes.
- Cool bread in pan for 10 minutes.
- Invert onto serving platter.
- Pull apart to eat.
- Yields one 10 inch coffee cake.

My sister and I live together, so this recipe would have made much more than we needed. I reduced it to one can of biscuits, and cut the brown sugar/butter by 1/3. We were out of pecans, so I just put the quartered, coated biscuits into a pie pan. Wonderful!!! We have a family reunion soon and I will be taking the full recipe monkey bread - WITH pecans for our desert! Easy to make and share!

These are okay but my family still likes the ones made with the yeast dough. For those, I just use 2 loaves of frozen bread dough, thawed.
