- 1 cup melting wafers, any color

To make your mermaid cake topper pieces, start by preparing a baking sheet with parchment paper. Grab your silicone mold and have it ready.

Melt the candy wafers according to the package’s directions, making sure to heat them slowly.

Fill a piping bag with the melted chocolate and cut the tip of the bag.

Pipe the chocolate into the mold and give it a few shakes to make sure there are no air bubbles.

Let the chocolate sit at room temperature or in the fridge for 20-30 minutes or until it’s completely set.
