How can you not want to make homemade toffee, when you find a recipe for 20-Minute Homemade Toffee that makes it so easy. No fuss, no muss, and NO candy thermometer, just simple straight forward instructions that are fail proof. I'm thinking of adding some crushed candy canes on top for Christmas.

I had always wondered how to make a good toffee candy, and this is just ideal. I always thought you'd have to fiddle with candy thermometers but this recipe manages to dispense with them. I love the use of almonds, pecans, and chocolate and I can easily whipping up a batch of this for sharing with friends and family around the holidays.

Making candy with no thermometer needed? That is my style. I always have trouble using mine and would rather never have to. I have never thought of making my own toffee. It is pretty simple and straight-forward. It seems like it is pretty much like making brittle without needing the candy thermometer. And I even have the ingredients right now.
