Chocolate Turtle Clusters
Chocolate Turtle Clusters are delightful treats. This particular chocolate turtle recipe uses walnuts in place of pecans, a homemade caramel sauce, and a milk chocolate topping. Yum! These homemade candies are sure to be popular wherever you take them. They're ideal Christmas desserts, but they can obviously be made any time of year. Chocolate and caramel, after all, is an irresistible combination. These turtles aren't too hard to make - just make sure you wait until they're cool before you take a bite!

I love turtle clusters. I don't really find there to be a huge taste difference between walnuts and pecans. Well, the black walnuts anyway. English walnuts do have a different taste. Black walnuts can be hard to find, but if you can, I think they would be the better option. My parents have a black walnut tree so I am in luck.

Turtle clusters are wonderful. I don't mind using walnuts instead of pecans. I like walnuts and pecans equally. It's interesting making caramel from scratch. This looks like a lot of steps, but the photo looks fantastic!
