Halloween Apples
"Are you ready for a spooktacular treat? Then you must try our Halloween Apples. A tart Granny Smith Apple dipped in white candy melts with a splattering of blood makes for the perfect treat for little ghouls this Halloween. Can I use White Chocolate instead of Candy Melts for this recipe? Yes, white chocolate can be substituted for the candy melts, which, at times, can be a bit difficult to work with. Some people also may prefer the taste of white chocolate to the melts. What Kind of Apples can I use for Candy Apples? You want to have a firmer apple to withstand being dipped. Apples like a Granny Smith work great, but you can also use a Gala or a Fuji apple. Honey Crisps may be too large. Do keep in mind that these are much sweeter apples than the tartness you will get with a Granny Smith."
