Ingredients
- 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 can water
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 (10-ounces) packages of frozen broccoli, thawed and drained
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 to 6 slices dark pumpernickle bread, torn into small pieces
- 3 tablespoons melted butter (or less, to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix the first five ingredients well, and transfer to a greased casserole dish. Bake for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the bread with the melted butter. Cover the broccoli mixture with the bread pieces, and bake for 10 more minutes or until the bread is browned.
