This 5-Ingredient Stupid Chicken recipe is just another reason to love my slow cooker. The ingredients are simple and carry a tremendous amount of flavor. The aroma when it is cooking is absolutely divine. I definitely serve it over pasta with grated parmesan cheese on top, and or course, crispy Italian bread on the side.

Quick, simple to make and very tasty. Slow cooker meals are such a great way to cater for busy families and this very easy dish simply cooks itself slowly while you get on with your daily life. In the evening all you have to do is cook some rice or pasta and hey presto! dinner is ready, lol! I chopped and added a garlic clove but that was the only change to the recipe. The whole family enjoyed it so it is a keeper!

I can't wait to make this recipe. We love chicken in the slow cooker and we will try it over rice the first time I make it. I enjoy reading other reviewers' ideas, like RNBOWGRL's. This does seem like an interesting sandwich idea. We are all about trying different recipes at my house, so I'll be creative, too.

There are so many things that come to mind when I read this recipe. I'm thinking grab a sub roll or which ever you prefer...fill it with some baby spinach or your favorite greens and you have an instant chicken parmesan sub with so much flavor, you'll never want to eat it the regular way again. You can even put it in a pita or calzone...and what about lasagna. Omg yes please!

Pasta is very big in my house. So, is chicken. You can never have too many pasta or chicken dishes. I also like that you could use rice or pasta. The same dish but either way would give it a different taste, I think I will go with plain canned tomatoes since I can my own. See how that works.

I wish my crock pot came with an automatic timer. I have to be at work at 7AM and don't get out until 6PM. I definitely want to try this receipie, but it will have to wait until the weekend when I am off work. I'm trying to find healthy receipies with high protein, and I'm switching to brown rice only, which is taking some getting used to.
