Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
     
  2. Cream butter and sugar together. Add vanilla, water and salt. Add flour to creamed mixture. Add chips and nuts.
     
  3. Form into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.

These were very delicious...although I needed to add more water to the batter as it wouldn't stick together. I also needed to leave it in 10 minutes longer. But finally they came out good. I think rolled them in powdered sugar twice.
