Cranberry Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup vanilla chips
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugars. add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in the chips, cranberries and nuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 9-11 min. or until golden brown. Cool for 2 min. before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
