Almond Shortbread Biscuits
Buttery rich shortbread with almond undertones, what's not to love? These delicious cookies are a sweet treat for any time of the day.

Ingredients
- 4 ounces butter
- 2 ounces margarine
- 8 ounces brown sugar, soft
- 3 1/4 cups plain flour
- 3/4 cup almonds, flaked
- 1 small egg
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
2. Rub butter and margarine into the flour.
3. Add sugar, beaten egg and almonds. Knead the mixture thoroughly.
4. Form mixture into an oblong shape about two inches square at the end.
5. Wrap in silver foil and leave in the refrigerator over night.
6. Cut into 1/8-inch-thick slices using a serrated knife. Place on greased baking sheet and cook for 10-15 minutes
