Snickerdoodles are a great variety of cookie. For me, they're really addictive, and I can consume a plate of them while sipping on some coffee or tea. This is a nice recipe for making a batch of them. I have to agree that making them with real butter rather than using shortening does improve the overall taste.

Snickerdoodles are one of my favorite cookies. I don't know who doesn't like them. Plain cookie dough rolled in cinnamon and sugar before baking. They get all crackly and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I like making them with butter instead of shortening. My daughter used to love helping me roll the dough into balls when she was younger.
