Game Day Bean Dip
It's game day, and you need a dip for the sports fans at home. Look no further, this hearty Game Day Bean Dip will get you points on the board. Filled with ground beef, cheese and beans, it is hard to deny one of the best simple slow cooker recipes.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cans (15-ounces) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- pinch or more of cayenne (to taste)
- 1 can (2.25-ounces) sliced ripe olives, drained
- 1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
- In skillet, cook the beef with the onion over med-high heat, stirring til browned. Drain off any fat. Put in 3.5 qt slow cooker.
- Add the beans, mashing up to half of them with a fork or masher. Stir in ketchup, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, cayenne and olives til well mixed. Cover and cook on High setting approx 1-1/2 hours or on Low for 3 hrs.
- Stir in 1 cup of the cheese mixing well. Top with the remaining 1/2 c. of cheese. Serve immediately with tortilla chips and/or raw veggies.
