    Hot Buttered Rum for Slow Cooker

    Ingredients

    • 2 c. brown sugar
    • 1/2 c. butter
    • 3 sticks cinnamon
    • 6 whole cloves
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • 2 qt. hot water
    • 2 to 3 c. rum

    Instructions

    Put all ingredients in slow cooker. Stir well. Cover; cook on high for 2 hours, then turn to low for 3 to 10 hours. Serve from slow cooker in mugs. Makes 15 to 20 servings.
