Mama's Slow Cooked Beef Stew
On cold rainy days, there's nothing better than Mama's slow cooked beef stew to warm you up. This one pot dinner is great if you need a little comfort food or a good hearty meal.

Ingredients
- 4 potatoes, cubed
- 1 pound beef stew meat
- 1 1/2 cup spicy tomato juice
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons celery flakes
- 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/3 cup tapioca
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and let cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until meat is cooked through.
