Slow Cooker Garlic & Brown Sugar Chicken
Slow Cooker Garlic & Brown Sugar Chicken makes for a really flavorful and easy dinner recipe. All of the ingredients work perfectly together to create a dish that effortlessly blends sweet and savory. The combination of brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and lemon-lime soda adds a lot of dimension to otherwise plain chicken breasts. The addition of red pepper flakes gives a nice kick as well. This slow cooker chicken is so good because it simmers in a tasty marinade for hours, which allows all of the juices to soak through and tenderize the meat.

Yummy! I love all things chicken. This can be served with pasta or rice, but rice will soak up so much of the saucy goodness. I was worried that it would call for entire can of soda pop, but thankfully, just a small amount. With the amount of brown sugar, I didn't think it needed much more sweetness. If you don't have red pepper flakes, you could sprinkle a tiny bit of cayenne over it instead.
