I made the chocolatey cupcakes but with white frosting so the sprinkles would show up better. First time making cupcakes from scratch...I mean really from scratch-no box mix! They turned out well, love the cream cheese in it, must be what makes it so moist, but I was tempted to buy cake flour. The recipe said regular flour, so I used what was in my pantry, but I've also seen chefs on tv sift their cake flour, which I didn't do either. I wonder if I should invest in a sifter? Will it make any difference when making cakes from scratch? Anyone use cake flour instead of regular flour?
