Doesnt this recipe look all sticky and sweet? I have always liked to partake of desserts that are not necessarily the norm. Most people reach for a pie or cookies. Now a tart, that is class. I think the combination of apple and pear with be pleasing to the palette.

This looks yummy! I don't think I'd go the extra distance to make it as healthy as possible, so I'd just use a regular pastry crust and regular pear jam if I couldn't easily find a sugar-free version. I like the idea of not peeling the apples, though I do peel them before using them in an apple cake. This is a really simple fruit tart to make and I'll definitely have to give this a try.

I can not remember the last time I saw a recipe for a tart. I have made a few in my day but I can not recall a tart made with jam. This sounds delicious.
