Cherry Dump Cake

Cherry Dump Cake is a dessert that looks pretty but is so easy to make. Like other dump cakes, there is a lot of dumping in this recipe. First, dump the pie filling in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Then, dump the cobbler-like dough on top of that. This is a yummy dessert to bring to any kind of potluck. But be warned: dump cakes are so easy, they might make you lazy. After you make a few of these, you may have a hard time going back to making cakes from scratch!

Aren't dump cakes just the coolest recipes? I love these desserts because after a long week, I do not have the time or energy to make a homemade cobbler or pie. I love that this cake is super simple and fast so I can get on with dinner while it is baking.
