These Patriotic No-Bake Cake Batter Truffles are a great easy dessert option. Perfect for any patriotic holiday (Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day), this recipe utilizes strawberry cake mix and red food coloring to ensure a nice red cake batter center. Best of all, this recipe does not require you to use the oven. Simply mix the batter together and then refrigerate your rounded truffle pieces until they are firm. What a neat way to make a truffle, right? I love that these are like cake pops. I want to make some of these and wrap them up and stick them in a vase and give them to my daughter to take back to her dorm room. Every time she sees the cake pops she will remember making homemade desserts with me.

Strawberry cake mix is the awesome, time-saving, surprise ingredient in this recipe! I also love using cake flour because it adds a nice lightness to the texture of cakes, cookies, cake batter balls, etc. Any good home baker should have cake flour on hand, especially when making homemade donuts!

Wow, these are so cool! I love the red, white, and blue and I can't wait to make them. I have never made truffles so this is a first. They will be so unique and such a popular dessert for our cookout. Thanks so much for the wonderful holiday dessert.
