Peach Pineapple Fruit Salsa
"My daughter recently came home from cooking class with fruit salsa and cinnamon crisps. Since she wasn’t very impressed with the school’s recipe, she asked me if I happened to have a good fruit salsa recipe. Well, of course I did! This Peach Pineapple Fruit Salsa recipe is a little spicy and a great summer or winter salsa, as it can be made with fresh or canned fruit. Serve it with cinnamon crisps, cookies or crackers for dessert, as an appetizer or on fish, chicken or pork! It's ready in 5 minutes."

No one thinks to use fruit in salsa do they? I love the idea. I think that roasting the pineapple and peaches would make it even more special. The caramelization has got to give the salsa a nice flavor profile. I am looking forward to experimenting with this recipe and seeing which ways my family likes it the best. Great post!

A delightful and surprising flavor addition to a meal! Refreshing too! We chose to use fresh fruit, not canned, and included some fresh pomegranate seeds as well as some chili sauce - delicious! It was perfect as a side to barbecued pork ribs and everyone really enjoyed it.
