I absolutely love this recipe. I wonder if it would work with gin as well? I think I might try that. Gin tends to work well with floral, fruitier flavors, so I think that could be really good.

I live in the Caribbean and it's pretty hot here as well, especially on afternoons. This raspberry daiquiri would make a great sundowner (a drink that you have while watching the sunset). I like using fresh fruit and raspberries are hard to find here so I think West Indian cherries would be a good substitute. They have a similar tartness.

How yummy a frozen raspberry daiquiri. It gets so hot here in South Africa. At the moment it's raining. When the rain stops and the sum comes out it is humid. It would be really good to sit back and relax with one of these to coo you down. I like the fact that it is raspberry as they have a certain tartness to them which I think will add another level to this drink.
