Lisa, creator of the blog Two Bears Farm, lives in a log home on a farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband, three boys, and numerous animals. She is always looking for creative ways to use vegetables from her garden that will appeal to kids and be budget-friendly too. An avid runner and marathoner, she tries to incorporate healthy ingredients, but is also known to have a wicked sweet tooth. When she finds a healthy food that her kids really love, she sometimes holds family cook-offs to find the ultimate version - once she made 8 different types of granola bars in a search for the perfect one!
Growing up in a family that always ate dinner together, Lisa feels it's important to continue that experience with her own boys. While there are many dinner stand-by dishes, she loves to experiment and try new dishes. Family favorites include jambalaya, clam spaghetti, and Asian tofu and broccoli stir fry.
