Cuchina Safe

Unable to find a safe, universal vented glass lid on the market, author/designer Castriota went to work on developing one herself. The patented CUCHINA SAFE LID™, or SAFE LID, is the non-toxic alternative to plastic lids, wraps and paper towels commonly used in microwave cooking. 

The CUCHINA SAFE LID™ fits on top of most glass or porcelain bowls, mugs, pots, pans and cookware. The CUCHINA SAFE LID™ is microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and oven safe (up to 400’). It is made of strong, Borosilicate glass. It will not absorb odors like plastics, is easy to store, and is good for the environment. The CUCHINA SAFE LID™ may keep those dangerous chemicals out of your food, and keep your microwave clean from splattered messes.  

Not only will you cook healthier with the CUCHINA SAFE LID™, you can eat healthier too! The innovative design allows for easy and fast steaming and cooking. The center vent lets the steam escape while cooking.
