I found this did actually help with browning food, especially chicken which I prefer to have more color. 



Each of the four glass lids are shatter-resistant, and don't crack when in contact with hot or cold temperatures. They fit snuggly over each pot so you can be sure steam stays trapped. They also help keep food warm at the dinner table.



While the cookie sheet may seem out of place with a cookware set, it isn't when Farberware is involved. Their cookie sheets are world famous for a reason and I definitely use them for more than just baking cookies. This pan is oven safe up to 450 degrees F and the nonstick coating works better than good! 



The six Prestige nylon tools are another great addition to the set. They are all each useful while cooking and using the pans. Plus, each of the black tools have a grip on the handle and loop for hanging.
